POLICE officers unexpectedly discovered an abandoned piano in the countryside while on duty.
PC Andy Long and PC Jed Raven found a fly-tipped piano dumped by the side of the A120, in Ramsey, this afternoon. (Friday, November 20).
They shared a picture of the piano on social media at 12.50pm, saying the fly-tipping showed a complete lack of respect for the countryside.
Andy Long said on Twitter: "More #FlyTipping on the A120 at Ramsey.
"It's not every day that a piano gets dumped. Complete lack of respect for our countryside.
"PC Jed Raven gave his best attempt at Mozart's Piano Concerto No 20 but lacked the string accompaniment."
