Covid-19 cases are falling in large parts of the county, including in areas of south Essex but that is not the case everywhere.
Here in south Essex, there are still areas seeing worrying rises - Government officials have confirmed.
Basildon is still seeing high numbers of cases - in Vange and Pitsea over the last seven days to 24 November there were 41 cases and that's a rise of 15 which is 57.7%.

Whitmore Way and Fremnells recorded 47 cases, this is up from 16 which is a 51.6% rise.
In Thurrock, Little Thurrock North saw 29 cases, over this time period, and this is a rise of three which is 11.5%.
In South Ockendon there were 33 cases which is an increase of 17 and 106.2%.
Wickford Shotgate recorded a rise also with 32 cases noted by officials. The rate has increased by eight, 33.3%.
Over in Eastwood Park cases have hit 19 in the week period and this rate has increased from the previous week by seven and 58.3%.
Castle Point is also seeing rising cases with more on Canvey. Officials recorded in Canvey Island Leigh Beck there were 20 Covid cases up two and 11.1%.
