'People not following vital Covid rules is reason for Tier 3'

You have only to go into any shop to see that people are not observing the two metre rule. So, of course, it is spreading.

A lot of people just do not take it seriously and flout the rules by going into each other’s homes. Take a look around a Covid ward (not that this is possible) to see the devastating effect this disease can have on people’s lives.

If you are lucky enough to recover you may be left with permanent lung damage.

Please, please, accept this for exactly what it is and stick by the rules, however inconvenient they may be.
