THE Cliffs Pavilion has welcomed a number of famous faces to Southend during panto season over the years.
Pantomimes have been unable to go ahead in their usual form due to the coronavirus pandemic, meaning youngsters and stage fans have been deprived of their annual ‘He’s behind you’ fix.
But we have taken the opportunity to look back at some of the A-listers who have performed at the famous south Essex theatre in years gone by.
Having delved into the Echo archive, we have rediscovered snaps of David Hasselhoff and Christopher Biggins teaming up in Peter Pan, as well as Essex singers Lee Mead and Stacey Solomon joining forces with Bobby Davro in Jack and the Beanstalk.
