I am very concerned about the way the vaccination hub in Basildon is being run.
Having shielded since March to protect my daughter who has COPD, I was appalled to hear of the chaos of the vaccine appointment system, where queues of people who were unable to social distance because of the volume of people were having to wait outside in the cold up to two hours.
Surely this can be organised a lot better. Yes, we all want our vaccination but in a safe manner with social distancing and no queues.
Why can’t pharmacists and GPs become more involved? We are dealing with a pandemic and it is wrong when people look at the crowd and decide to go home without having it. We all want to feel safe, not at risk.
