FIRE crews worked through the early hours of the morning to help rescue a person from their car after they were trapped in a crash.
Following the late night crash, at around 12.30am, crews freed the person from their car on the Fairglen Interchange, off the A1245, between Rayleigh and Wickford.
The fire service say the person was released by 1.22am.

A spokesman from the fire service, said: "Firefighters rescued a person from their vehicle in the early hours of this morning following a road traffic collision on at the A1245.
"On arrival, crews reported that one person was trapped following a collision and worked to release them by 1:22am."
