Covid cases are falling fast across south Essex - new figures have revealed.
It comes as Labour leaders have made a number of demands to Goverment ministers in a bid to curb rising Covid rates in Essex.
Council chiefs and opposition leaders united from across the county to write to Health Secretary Matt Hancock demanding five measures are introduced.
Here are the areas seeing a drop in cases:
Thorpe Bay
Total cases: 66- 20 (-23.3%)
West Shoebury
Total cases: 101 -12 (-10.6%)
Blenheim Park
Total cases 103 -76 (-42.5%)
West Leigh
Total cases: 96 -14 (-12.7%)
Eastwood Park
Total cases: 87 -35 (-28.7%)
Rayleigh South West
Total cases: 64 -52 (-44.8%)
Lee Chapel South & Kingswood
Total cases: 138 -10 (-6.8%)
Steeple View & Noak Bridge
Total cases: 99 -10 (-9.2%)
Bursteads
Total cases: 78 -10 (-11.4%)
Wickford West
Total cases: 56 -24 (-30.0%)
