SUPERMARKET staff have tested positive for Covid-19 and are at home isolating, Sainsbury’s bosses have confirmed.
The company says a small number of colleagues tested positive at its Rayleigh Weir store, with some also self-isolating as a precaution.
But bosses have assured safety is of their highest priority.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We continue to have strict safety measures in place in all our stores, including additional cleaning and social distancing measures, as well as hand sanitiser stations, perspex screens and PPE.
"We continue to support Test and Trace and remain in close contact with them.”
