Drugs, a taser and counterfeit clothing were all seized by police following two raids on the same day.

Officers in Castle Point made the discovery yesterday (Tuesday, March 3) morning.

They were carrying out warrants at addresses in Oak Road, Billericay, and Furtherwick Road, Canvey.

The team found class A drugs, thousands of pounds worth of cash, a suspected taser, counterfeit and stolen clothing.

All items were seized.


A man and woman were both arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession of a Sec 5 firearm, possessing goods with a false trademark, handling stolen goods & money laundering.

The two suspects are in custody and currently being interviewed.
