POLICE were forced to remove a car from a busy street after it had been parked... partially across a junction.
PCSO's came across the poorly parked BMW when out on patrol in Westcliff over the weekend.
The vehicle, which had been left in Hamlet Court Road, was deemed to be both dangerous and an obstruction by the officers.
They tweeted: "PCSO's were out on patrol over the weekend when they attended an incident reporting a car not only causing an obstruction but also parked dangerously blocking part of a junction on Hamlet Court Road.
"This was removed by officers to prevent a potential accident."
The Highways Code states motorists cannot wait or park "opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space".
