The Echo has put together a list of licensing applications that have been received by Southend and Basildon Council.
Anyone who wants to serve or sell alcohol, provide late-night refreshments or put on regulated entertainment at their premises requires a license.
The application is advertised and there is a 28 day objection oeriod which local authorities and the general public can make representations in support of or against the application.
If no objections are made in this time, the application must be granted as applied for to the council.
Here is a list of the latest applications that have been made to Southend and Basildon Council.
Applications made to Southend Council
Victoria Gadgets and Grocery Ltd
An application has been made for a new premises license for the sale and supply of alcohol off the premises, daily between 7am and 11pm.

Wine Meats Cheese Ltd
The council received the application proposing for a new premises license to supply alcohol off the premises via online orders, on a 24 hour basis.

Harveys Newsagents
An application was made for a new premises license to supply alcohol off the premises Monday to Friday, from 7am to 11pm.

Applications made to Basildon Council
Great Berry Residents Club
The application requests the use of an outside area at the rear of the club for tables and chairs Monday to Sunday from 8am to 11pm.

The application requests the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises only. Hours for licensable activity Monday to Sunday 11am to 11pm.

The application requests to alter the premises layout doors and to remove current conditions related to the outside area.
