A WOMAN had her purse stolen in a distraction theft, and her card was then used in multiple shops fraudulently.
Essex Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection to the theft on March 15.
The victim was shopping in Co-op on Wickford High Street. Her purse was stolen from her bag after she was distracted at around 10.30am.
Her cards were then used several times in the local area to withdraw cash and pay for other goods in other stores.
If anyone knows who the man is or has any information, they are asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference 42/45577/21.

Update April 12: Essex Police say a man has been identified in connection to the thefts and their enquiries are ongoing.
