Dramatic images have emerged of a lorry which has been balanced on the edge of a bridge on the M25 for several hours.
There have been major delays throughout today on the anticlockwise/ Essex-bound carriageway of the motorway near the Dartford Crossing because of the incident.
A lorry is understood to have collided with barriers and ended up stuck overhanging the A2 in Kent around 1.30pm.
It led to six miles of congestion and some drivers were reporting delays of up to 90 minutes.
The entire anticlockwise carriageway on the M25 has been closed throughout the afternoon near to junction 2, as has the A2 in both directions.

Two lanes have also been closed on the clockwise carriageway to allow for a damaged lamp column to be repaired.
Recovery work continues on #M25 within J2. #A2 also remains closed in both directions through #Darenth Interchange. Once recovery complete the barrier will need to be replaced. 2 lanes closed clockwise also whilst a damaged lamp column is dealt with. Severe delays in the area. pic.twitter.com/eqKcSsvgkG
