A new shop is finally set to open in Leigh - more than a year after it had originally planned to start serving customers.

Our Remedy had signed a lease for its first shop in the county in London Road at the start of the very first national lockdown in March last year.

Bosses have seen opening dates consistently postponed and have turned their attentions to online sales instead.

But with all shops being given the green light to reopen from Monday, Our Remedy is finally set to welcome its first few customers through the doors.

Founder Rachel Mason said: "We are so excited to open as it's been a whole year in the making.

"We signed the lease at the beginning of the very first lockdown and due to restrictions and product launches, we've had to postpone the opening several times.

"We hope it will be worth the wait."
