A STALKER has admitted putting his victim in fear of violence and is facing jail.
On New Year's Day this year, Essex Police issued an appeal to find Marc Chapman whow as wanted over allegations of stalking.
The 35-year-old of Melba Gardens, Tilbury, was arrested on Wednesday after being on the run for three months.
He subsequently charged with stalking involving fear of violence.
He admitted the charge at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on May 6.
The maximum sentence for stalking and putting a person in fear of violence is ten years in prison.
