TRIBUTES to the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, have been spotted across Colchester town centre.

Buckingham Palace said Philip died peacefully in his sleep at Windsor Castle on Friday, two months before his 100th birthday, leaving the Queen and the royal family “mourning his loss”.

Tributes have flooded in from across the world since the news broke, including from in Colchester.

Colchester High Steward Sir Bob Russell visited Colchester on Saturday, capturing a series of photos of some of the physical tributes in the town centre.
