TWO men have been charged with drug crimes after raids by police in Shoebury and Westcliff.
Essex Police officers carried out the raid of two homes in the Shoebury and Westcliff areas yesterday.
The officers were investigating the supply of heroin and cocaine in the Southend area.
The homes were raided in Saxon Gardens, Shoebury, and Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff.
Rhys Morgan, 23, of Canewdon Road, Westcliff, and Jamie Sanders, 30, of Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff were both charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine, and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
