Food delivery company Deliveroo has announced it is offering up to 25 per cent off food for some orders during the next month.

Bosses say selected restaurants in partnership with the app and website have signed up to the discount scheme to help businesses get back on their feet following the lockdown.

The offer will end on May 17. 

In Southend, there are four restaurants and eateries that have signed up to the scheme so far.

Customers must spend at least £20 to get access to the discount, though this rule may vary depending on the venue.

The restaurants that are offering discounts are:

  • Ask Italian – 20 per cent off its entire menu
  • Salsa Tappas and Grill – 20 per cent off its entire menu when spending £15 or more
  • Coco di Mama Kitchens – 25 per cent off its entire menu
  • Redds Caffe – 10 per cent off entire menu when spending £15 or more

New customers to Deliveroo can also get £10 off their first order by using the code APRIL10.

The offer expires on Sunday, April 18.

It comes as Deliveroo announced it was expanding its coverage into Billericay amid plans to give customers greater choice.
