A SECOND pub in the same village has taken the decision to bar under-21s from visiting.
The White Hart in Hockley has announced it will not be serving under-21s for the foreseeable future.
The pub said on social media the decision was in response to "unforeseen circumstances in the area."
The pub is not certain when under-21s will be allowed to attend once again.
"In a statement on social media, The White Hart said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances in the area in last couple of days The White Hart will be adopting a strict over 21 years of age policy for the foreseeable future.
"This could be subject to change but will be enforced until then."
The move comes as a fellow pub in the village, The Bull Inn, also decided to ban under-21s.
The Bull Inn said the decision was in response to recent "incidents".
The pub said it was unable to comment but comments under their social media announcement suggested a manager at the pub was "attacked."
