Fire teams were called in to action today following a crash which left a woman trapped.
Crews from Brentwood and Chelmsford were called to Blackmore Road in Brentwood on April 18 at around 1.40pm.
Reports say a road traffic collision had taken place.
The fire service say two vehicles were involved.
On arrival firefighters reported that one woman was trapped in her car and worked to release her by 2.32pm.
The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service but her current status is unknown.
