A MAN has been arrested after a large stash of drugs and cash was found by a police dog.
Police carried out a raid in Southend this morning following reports of drug dealing in the area.
A spokesman for the Southend Policing Team said: "This morning officers from the Community Policing Team executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act at and address in Southend thanks to intelligence received from members of the public about a male drug dealing on a bike in the area.
"A 20-year-old man from Southend has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and remains in custody for questioning.
"A large amount of cash and drugs have been seized with the assistance of PD Oreo who had some good finds."
