Former Towie star Elliott Wright claims arsonists were behind the devestating fire which has "completely destroyed" his restaurant.

Olivia's La Cala has been gutted by the blaze which began in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Elliott set-up his dream restaurant in Malaga, Spain, just six years ago and informed fans of the devestating news shortly after the fire was extinguished yesterday.

He has taken to Instagram today to share an update on the incident, in which he has told fans the cause of the fire was arson.

Elliott also said Spanish police were now involved in the investigation as he shared a walkthrough video of the damage done throughout the restaurant.

Almost everything on the ground floor, aside from a corner, has been destroyed by the blaze.

Speaking during the video, Elliott said: "Probably one of my worst videos I've ever made.

"My beautiful restaurant - I always dreamt about it - that I built six years ago, that was still a working progress, has been completely destroyed.

"I'm devestated and I can say now it was arson. Someone has come and taken my whole dream away for whatever reason, I will never know.

"Whether it's jealousy or competition, it doesn't reall matter."

Elliott went on to insist he would rebuild the restaurant "bigger and better" in time for the summer before issuing a plea for builders, designers and plummers to get in touch and help with the project.
