TWO police officers have been charged with misconduct following the alleged murder of a Southend priest’s two daughters.

PC Deniz Jaffer, 47, and PC Jamie Lewis, 32, will appear in court in connection with photographs taken and circulated in relation to the deaths of Bibaa Henry, 46, and Nicole Smallman, 27.

The two sisters suffered fatal stab wounds during an incident in Fryent Country Park, Wembley, in June last year.

PC Jaffer and PC Lewis have both been charged with one count of misconduct in public office.

They are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 27.

Bibaa and Nicole were the daughters of Wilhelmina Smallman, who was the first woman to become an Archdeacon when she took on the role for the Chelmsford Diocese in Southend in 2013.

The Archdeaconry of Southend comprises Southend, Rochford, Basildon, Thurrock and Hadleigh.

The popular Archdeacon served the community until her retirement in 2016.

Danyal Hussein, 18 and from Blackheath, was charged with two counts of murder and possession of an offensive weapon following the deaths of Bibaa and Nicole.

He will stand trial later this year.
