EX-Towie star Elliott Wright has issued a heartfelt thanks to fans as he declared his ruined restaurant will ‘rise from the ashes’.
The Olivia’s La Cala venue was destroyed by a fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
Elliott took to Instagram to claim the blaze had been started deliberately but it is understood police have yet to find any evidence of arson.
A video of the aftermath shows the entire ground floor of the restaurant - which is based in Malaga, Spain – was destroyed by the blaze, while part of the roof at the front has collapsed.
An emotional Elliott has taken to Instagram again to update fans on what happens now and has also taken the chance to thank well-wishers who have offered to help rebuild his restaurant.
He said: “'I just want to do a little message to everybody that has been in touch with me since yesterday, since I asked for help,' said the star.
“Thousands upon thousands of messages, it is overwhelming the support you've all given me, I just want to say a massive thank you, it means a lot.'
He added: “'I've got a lot more energy today and I'm going to build it and really go for it and everyday is a good day and more of a challenge and I can't wait.
