Residents across Rochford are set to go to the polls on Thursday.

The local election, originally meant to take place last year, was delayed by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic - along with mayoral and Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

But with restrictions now easing and the rollout of the vaccine programme proving a success, the local election will now go ahead on May 6.
