Police were able to save a Range Rover from being pulled apart and sold off following an operation in Essex today.
Officers the specialist stolen vehicle examination team worked with a dog unti to raid a chopshop in Brentwood.
Photos from the scene show a host of cars which had been pulled apart and individual pieces sold off or used to make new vehicles.

After the successful raid, officers were enjoying a quick coffee break when the spotted a Range Rover fitted with a fake licence plate.
The team then found out the vehicle had been reported stolen from Hertfordshire and was bound for the nearby chopshop they had raided just hours before.
The vehicle was recovered and will be returned to its original owner.
