A teenager has been arrested and questioned on suspicion of murder a fatal crash.

Neil Darnell, 50, from Waltham Abbey, died after he was in collision with a car in Farm Hill Road, Waltham Abbey, at 10am on Friday, April 16.

Detectives have been carrying out extensive enquiries and a 17-year-old boy from the Cheshunt area was arrested last night, Saturday 8 May, in Harlow, in connection with the investigation.

He remains in custody, where he is being questioned on suspicion of murder.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are continuing our investigation into the circumstances behind the collision and thank witnesses who have helped with our enquiries.
