A POPULAR casino will re-open it's doors from next week, bosses have confirmed.

Westcliff's Genting casino will re-open for business on Monday, with punters able to enjoy games like black jack and roulette once again.

The casino, on Western Esplanade, will have no evening curfew in place for customers, following Government clearance.

However the venue will be operating with a limited capacity.

Masks will also be required upon entry.

The casino will be open daily from 12pm, closing at 5am.

A spokesman from the casino, said: "A number of Covid-secure measures will, however, remain, with staff at the casino committed to ensuring every step is taken to ensure the environment remains safe and welcoming.

"Masks will also be required upon entry, multiple hand sanitizer stations will be located across the venue, screens will be in place between slot machines and e-tables and regular deep cleaning will be taking place.

"A range of food and drink is also available for table service."

Jason Kirsch, Genting Casino regional operations director for the south, said: “All of the team are absolutely delighted to be getting back to business and can’t wait to welcome customers through the doors.

"We will continue to ensure all measures are taken to keep the environment safe for all customers and employees and regularly review all of our policies in line with the latest government guidance.”
