A FAMILY-owned Wimpy is set to close its doors as the husband and wife duo who have run the restaurant for 30 years retire.

Kash and Navjot Bhangal are looking forward to relaxing at home after three decades at the Wimpy on Billericay High Street.

Despite Wimpy closing, the site will remain a family affair as their son, Joe, takes over the building to run a Miss Millies chicken takeaway. Mr Bhangal, 70, said it will be a sad day when he shuts the doors for the last time.
