A SOUTH Essex woman with "Essex knowledge" appeared on the hit quiz TV show The Chase this evening.
Nichola Holmes, from Benfleet, a business and management tutor, was booted from the ITV show after being hunted down by chaser Darragh "The Menace" Ennis.
She just missed out on £5,000, failing to make it into the final round.

But in a slightly strange turn of events, her fellow contestant Heather, while trying to praise Nichola, said: "you are a really good player but you have that Essex knowledge that us Northern guys don't have."
Fans of the show have been left confused by the comment, with one on Twitter commenting: "Essex knowledge? I've never heard of that phenomena before!"
The Chase airs on weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
