EX-Towie star Dan Osborne has defended his rant about the coronavirus vaccine in which he said he wouldn’t have the jab.

Dan was forced to bring an end to his holiday in Portugal after it was announced the country would be removed from the UK’s green travel list.

He returned to his home in Essex having gone away with wife Jacqueline Jossa and two daughters.

An annoyed Dan, 29, took to Instagram over the weekend to vent his anger, taking aim at the Covid vaccine and claiming he, and his children, wouldn’t be having it.

In a video posted on his account, he said: “I've said it from day one. People are going to have a go at me, but the whole thing is about money. The whole damn thing.

"I've had hundreds, maybe thousands of messages about kids getting the vaccination.

"Personally that s*** isn't even going in me - never mind my kids.

"People do your research, it's not good.

"That's just my opinion, it's my Instagram I should be able to say what I want."

Dan then returned to Instagram last night to reveal he had been inundated with messages from people criticising his video.

He said it had sent people “crazy” and urged them to “chill”.

He added: "It's not dangerous enough to be forcing an injection on the world. That to me is suspect..."

"Can we talk about something else now.

“I ain't looking to get jumped by the Covid f***ing army."

Experts are urging people to have two doses of the Covid vaccine, to help prevent them from becoming seriously ill from the virus.

Nearly 68 millions jabs have been administered in the UK so far, with 27 million people having now had their first and second doses.
