One person has reportedly been taken to hospital aftyer a crash involving a car and a moped.
Buses were diverted and police shut half of the road after the crash in Cranes Farm Road in Basildon.
Data on Google maps shows there has been a crash on the road near to Iveco on the eastbound carriageway.
Giving an update on its 94/94A/94B services, a spokesman for First said: "Due to a police closure on Cranes Farm Rd, to South Woodham we will divert from Lucklyn Ln to Sainsbury Marconi stop via Ghylgrove Bus lane,Broadmayne, Eastmyane normal at Cranes Farm Rd.
"We can't serve Gardiners Ln South and Paycocke Rd."
It is understood a car and moped were involved in the collision and one person has been taken to hospital.
Essex Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
