Suspected drink driver arrested after nasty crash
A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a nasty crash which resulted in a road having to be closed.
Essex Police’s Roads Policing Unit detained a driver in Chelmsford on Thursday night following a collision with other vehicles.
He is reported to have failed to provide a sample at the roadside and can now “expect to pay the penalties for his actions.”
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “There is absolutely no excuse for drink driving and you will be arrested and prosecution sought.”
