A TEENAGE boy was robbed of his hoodie by knife-wielding thugs.

The 15-year-old boy was approached by two thugs riding bikes before being attacked in Bournemouth Park Road, Southend.

The incident happened in broad daylight at 1.15pm yesterday.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "One of the teenagers produced a knife and demanded the victim hand over his top which he did.

"The pair then cycled away towards Eastern Avenue.

"The first teenager has been described as around 13 years-old, of large build, 5ft 7ins, with blonde hair and wearing a grey and black puffa jacket and riding a dark-blue bike.

"The second teenager has been described as around 13 years-old, with freckles and dark hair, and wearing a grey hooded top, and black tracksuit trousers.

"He was carrying two bags – a rucksack and a drawstring-style bag.

"If you saw anything or have any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage we need you to contact us."
