Two people were racially abused at a Co-op store.

CCTV images of a man has been released following the verbal abuse at the Co-Op in York Way at the Meriden estate on July 6 at 2.50pm.

Police believe that the man pictured may be able to help with enquiries.

PC Aaron George, who is investigating, said: “Firstly, I would like to stress that Hertfordshire Constabulary takes a tough stance against racism and we are doing everything we can to trace the offender.

“We believe that the man pictured was in the shop at the time and he could have vital information that will help our enquiries.
