HERE are some behind the scenes images of the cast rehearsing for the play Tale of the Thames.
The play, which completed its south Essex tour this month, celebrates life on Essex Thames Estuary.
It ran at venues across the coastsuch as a village hall in West Tilbury to a historic pub on Canvey.
The play was written by Southend-based writer Matt Boulter, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch associate Artist Rebecca Brewer and playwright Vickie Donoghue, both from Thurrock.
The play features live music and songs by MG Boulter whose new album, Clifftown, has contributions from musicians in bands such as Bellowhead and Spiritualized.
