THE A127 has now reopened between the Halfway House and Dunton after power cables fell and blocked the road.
Drivers faced huge delays, with some sitting in more than two and a half hours of traffic after the road was blocked by the cables.
Queues backed up all the way to the M25 at junction 29.
The road has now been reopened between the Halfway House and Dunton, with delays also cleared.
