A DOG owner has been given unpaid work and ordered to keep his dog secure after it injured a woman.
Steven Wilding's Alsatian "Buster" was found to be dangerously out of control when out walking in The Lichfields, Basildon on November 20 last year, and ended up injuring a woman.
Wilding, 49, of Gordons, Basildon, appeared at Basildon Magistrates' Court where he admitted the offence.

The magistrates' bench ordered that Buster must be securely fitted with a muzzle and be held by a person over 18 on a lead, and be locked away when the front door is open.
The bench also said no one aged under 18 must open the front door while Buster is in the house.
Wilding was also given a community order where he must complete 200 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
He must also pay £2,000 compensation to the woman.
