Do you have both coronavirus jabs yet? If not, today could be the day you get fully vaccinated.

Walk-in Covid-19 vaccination clinics are running today in Basildon and Southend.

In Basildon, residents can get walk-in Moderna vaccine jabs – both first and second doses – at Boots Pharmacy in Town Square, Basildon.

The store is open from 8.30am – 5.30pm but closed for lunch from 12pm – 1pm.

You can turn up, no appointment needed, for a vaccine. The walk-in clinic will be running until July 30.

A PFIZER walk-in clinic is operating at Southend’s Valkyrie Road Primary Care Centre between 4pm and 7pm for today only (July 28).

The NHS is inviting everyone over 18 to bring their second dose appointment forward to eight weeks to ensure everyone has the strongest possible protection from the Delta variant at the earliest opportunity; receiving the second dose at least eight weeks after the first offers the best protection.
