While the Roslin Beach Hotel is also just over a mile from shops and an amusement park on the vibrant seafront.
And the Roslin Retreat features treatment rooms to relax and unwind throughout your stay. Offers range from specialist Elemis facials and massages to manicures and pedicures.
Camelia Hotel
Based on Eastern Esplanade, this 4.5 star hotel has been described by Trip Advisor as a multiple award winning family owned and run boutique hotel.
Located on the seafront, the business boasts a large car park at the rear and ocean view rooms.
Other room features include flatscreen TVs, hair dryers and a safe.
While there are 12 restaurants within 0.3 miles of the hotel, including Ocean Beach.
If you fancy a breather from all that sun and sea, Southchurch Park is also nearby for a leisurely stroll.
Gleneagles Guesthouse
Gleneagles - which can be found on Clifftown Parade, Westcliff - is a Grade 2 listed building which was built during the 1850’s.
According to Trip Advisor, the business operated as a hotel until 2001. However, it now operates as a guest house.
Being just 15 minutes from Southend Airport, with airport transfers available, the building overlooks the beautiful cliff gardens.
While guests can also enjoy panoramic sea views, an en-suite to all rooms, their very own TV, tea and coffee facilities along with a hearty breakfast.

This Thorpe Bay hotel has also been rated 4.5 stars, and is based just a stroll away from the world's longest pleasure pier.

The hotel also boasts a 24-hour check in service, free parking, it's own restaurant and free internet.
Holiday Inn
The Holiday Inn, on Eastwoodbury Crescent, has 129 air conditioned bedrooms, featuring 27 beautifully appointed executive rooms and four king superior rooms.
The five-storey hotel also houses a fully sound-proofed rooftop bar and restaurant, offering brilliant views of Southend Airport.
On top of this, room features blackout curtains, air conditioning, a flatscreen TV, and even a sofa bed.
While parking and a fitness centre with a gym/workout room is also available at the site.
There are 18 restaurants within 0.75 miles of the venue, including Lokanta Cafe Restaurant and the Anne Boleyn.
