Star Lane
A MAN was "knocked over by a car" and was left badly injured after a crash last night.
A man, whose age is yet to be confirmed, is understood to have been hit by a car on Star Lane, in Great Wakering last night.
The road was closed from 10pm for several hours.
Witnesses laid towels over the man while he lay in the road before emergency services arrived, social media reports claim.

The extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed.
Essex Police was contacted for comment, as well as the East of England ambulance service.
