A SNIFFER dog managed to find Class A drugs strapped to a car's handbrake on Canvey.
Essex Police have seized a quantity of suspected Class A drugs after officers stopped a car in Canvey.
Officers were on patrol in Canvey Way shortly before 10.30pm on Thursday when they stopped a Ford Fusion car.
After a search was authorised, a drugs dog was deployed and indicated to the car’s handbrake.

A police spokesman said: "During a further search of the car, officers found a quantity of suspected Class A drugs tied around the handbrake lever.
"It is now being forensically examined.
"A 41-year-old man from Canvey was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
"He has been released under investigation."
