Olly Murs confirmed his scheduled shows will go ahead this month despite undergoing surgery this week.
The Witham star shared a video with his 3.6 million Instagram followers explaining that a fragment of bone managed to lodge itself to the back of his knee.
He told fans the accident occurred during a gig in Newmarket on Friday and following a "mad 72 hours" he had the bones removed.
Olly admitted he "thought the worst" fearing he had done his knee again before sharing a photo of the small bones that has been removed.
But the singer reassured fans that the rest of his performances will go ahead this month, including one at Castle Park on August 29, but say they may be a bit different.

Olly said: "I wanted to make sure I got this done for you guys. It will be a different gig, I probably won't be running around like I normally do, there might be a stool for me to sit down on, but I can't cancel these gigs for you guys.
"'It was such an amazing vibe on Friday at Newmarket so I'll give it absolutely everything next week for you all."
Olly, who shot to fam of the sixth series of ITV's X Factor, is performing a 25 date tour spanning 2021 and 2022 to support his triple platinum album Never Been Better.
Speaking about the gig the 37-year-old said: "I’m super excited, time to let loose,”
“It’s been a rubbish 18 months so looking forward to entertaining my fans again, getting on stage and doing what I do best.
“I can’t wait to see the band again."
