Coronavirus vaccine centres are accepting walk-ins this week to allow people without a booking to get a jab.
It comes amid a drive to get everyone fully vaccinated due to the spread of the delta variant of the virus.
Around 75 per cent of adults in the UK are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with nearly 90 per cent having now had their first jab.
Below is a list of all the vaccine sites in south Essex accepting walk-ins this week.
Anyone looking to get their second jab must ensure it has been at least eight weeks since their first jab.
AstraZeneca walk-ins
- Wickford – The Lodge Vaccination Centre
August 16 from 9am to 1pm
- Thurrock – Alastair Farquharson Centre
August 16-18 from 9am to 1pm
- Rayleigh – The Mill Arts and Events Centre
August 16 – 18 from 9am to 1pm
- Thundersley – Runnymede Hall
August 20-22 9am to 6.30pm
- Canvey Island – The Paddocks
August 19 from 4pm to 6pm
Pfizer walk-ins
- Wickford – The Lodge Vaccination Centre
August 16 and 17 from 8.30am to 1.30pm
- Thurrock – Alastair Farquharson Centre
August 16 and 17 from 8.30am to 1pm
- Canvey Island – The Paddocks Community Hall
August 19 from 3pm to 6pm
- Southend – Civic Centre
All week from 8.30am to 7.30pm each day
