A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in Basildon.
Essex Police were called to Fairlop Gardens shortly after 1am this morning (Monday August 23).
The team arrived and found a man, aged in his 20s, had sustained stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two people have been arrested following the assault, which saw the scene taped off earlier this morning and forensics also attend.

A 32-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from Basildon, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We do not believe there is wider threat to the public, but we will be maintaining a visible presence in the area throughout the day."
