THESE are the criminals jailed in south Essex this month.

From drug dealers to money launderers, these crimes have been henious.

Here is a rundown of the key criminals sent behind bars at Basildon Crown Court.

Ben Brown

Enraged driver Ben Brown, 38, has been jailed after he fractured his victim’s wrist and ankle in a vicious attack near Basildon on the A127.

He had spotted his victim having an argument with another driver at an Esso garage on the eastbound carriageway, and then followed him on the A127.

What followed was a "Ben Hur style chariot race" and then Brown attacking the other driver with the bat.

He was jailed for two years.

Lenny Draper, Jay Collins and James Hammond

Lenny Draper (pictured above) was head of a “county lines” operation which saw Class A drugs dealt in bulk in the Southend borough.

He was caught after being traced from his lieutenant who was found with hundreds of pounds worth of drugs and cash.

Draper, 27, was head of the operation, while Jay Collins, 19, would deal the drugs for him, with James Hammond, 52, as a runner.

All three men were sentenced at Southend Crown Court.

Draper was jailed for four years, while the other two received suspended sentences.

Adrian Wolowiec

Echo:

Adrian Wolowiec got into a row with another man in Marine Parade, Southend last summer.

The seafront was packed with people at the time of the incident, at 7pm.

The argument, on June 12, saw the two men draw knives and brandish them at each other, before they both walked away.

But alarmed residents, having seen the knives, called police.

Wolowiec, 35, of Grosvenor Road, Westcliff, was later caught on CCTV throwing a knife over a fence.

He was jailed for a year.

Reginald Goodman

"Monster" Reginald Goodman, 73, abused his position to get close to young boys, before launching a horrifying attack at a camp.

At the time of offending, in the 1970s, Goodman was aged in his 20s and purporting to run a Southend football team.

Two boys had joined the team when they were invited to a camp on farmland in Great Wakering.

Goodman was jailed for sexual offences in the 70s and 80s and was released from prison in 1991.

For these offences, Goodman was jailed for 12 years with an extended licence period of one year.

Angela Gravely

Echo:

Gravely has been jailed for more than two years for possessing heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis inside the Travelodge in Chichester Road, Southend this year.

The 38-year-old of York Road, Southend, was stopped by officers on June 24 and searched.

The police found 4.6 grams of diamorphine (heroin) along with 10.6 grams of crack cocaine and a small amount of herbal cannabis.

She was jailed for 26 months.

'Tommy' drug kingpin Garth Tulloch and his henchmen

Garth Tulloch along with henchmen Marcus Moses-Cairnes and Ahamefuna Anukam were caught dealing in Leigh and Benfleet within hours of each other.

The trio were running the "Tommy" County Line operation which saw the dealing of cocaine and cannabis between east London and Southend.

The gang were snared following a joint operation between Essex Police's Operation Raptor team and the Metropolitan Police.

The group were ound with dozens of wraps of cocaine and more drugs were found when searching a house.

Tulloch and Moses-Cairnes received years in jail, while Anukam was jailed for a year.

Oluwabunmi Tejuoso

Tejuoso had denied she tried to acquire and distribute the criminal property, but was convicted by a jury.

Basildon Crown Court heard that the 44-year-old had £282,745.24 transferred into her bank account at some point between November 2016 and April 2017, and within “minutes” she had transferred it into other accounts belonging to or managed by her.

While the account was frozen, £30,000 managed to go missing and has never been recovered.

Tejuoso begged the court not to send her to prison and give her "another chance" to be a good person.

Despite this, she was jailed for 30 months due to the seriousness of the crime.

Adnan Icel

Police from the Metropolitan Police Wildlife Crime Unit and RSPCA’s Special Operations Unit raided a pubto  crack down on the sale of the birds which were caught illegally.

The raids at a number of pubs lead to 17 men being convicted for their involvement in the wild bird trade was sentenced this week, following a two-year investigation by the RSPCA.

Adnan Icel, 56, of Southchurch Road, Southend was sentenced on Monday after being found with six goldfinches in his possession at the pub.

During the raid at his home address, officers found 190 wild birds being kept illegally.
