A SOUTHEND arcade welcomed two international stars for a secret 12-hour music video shoot, with filming taking place overnight.

Celebs Dappy and Willie XO took to the Happidrome Arcade, on Marine Parade, at the end of July to film the music video to their hit, Good Times.

Taking nearly a month to create and put together, the video has finally been released, with arcade boss Martin Richardson now able to speak out about the exciting project.

The talented Willie XO has performed alongside the likes of Tory Lanez and Ashanti, while Dappy is best known as lead singer of the Camden-based hiphop and grime trio N-Dubz.

Their music video, which can be found on Youtube, even gives the Happidrome Arcade a shout out in the credit scene.

Mr Richardson, said: "They were both absolutely fantastic, really nice guys. Nothing was too much trouble.

"The idea behind it is about them having a good time for one night only in a casino/arcade, which we all did.

"The whole thing took about 12 hours, the crew turned up at 8pm and left about 8am the next day.

"We had people asking 'what's going on', so we said we were doing a promotion video. I dont know if they really believed us, some of them asked 'what with all those cameras?'

"It's great they chose our location and goes to show Southend has plenty more to offer."
