  • Partial assembled salad bar
  • Gluten free and cheesybite, vegan stuffcrust bases
  • Limited kid's pasta options
  • Pineapple
  • Jalapenos
  • Budweiser and San Miguel beer
  • Cocktails

Nando's closes two south Essex restaurants due to food shortages

Echo:

It comes after Nando’s was forced to close down certain stores after running out of food due to delivery delays.

The restaurant chain said a number of locations had to close last month due to a shortage of supplies, including the Lakeside and Basildon Festival Leisure sites.

Both were temporarily closed for eat-in, delivery and collection, but have now re-opened.

A spokesperson for Pizza Hut Restaurants, said: “While the majority of our menu and customer favourites are available at our Festival Leisure Park Pizza Hut Restaurant, we are facing some supply shortages.

"Businesses in the UK face a complicated situation as we manage pandemic-related issues, including a supply chain affected by the shortage in HGV drivers.

"We are working with our suppliers and partners to limit disruption for our customers at this time.”
