A garden centre will launch its popular German market and Christmas fare next .

Meadow Croft, near Battlesbridge, will be running the market everyday from Thursday (September 16) through to December 23.

It will feature everything you need to get into the mood for Christmas, with festive ornaments, candles, authentic cuckoo clocks and handmade woollen hats and gloves.

The market will be made up of 30 stalls, all of which have been hand-made by Roland Smith.

Many of the products available to customers have been sourced from Germany, including food and drink which can be enjoyed on the day or used as a gift for Christmas.

There will also be Kurz and Lang bratwurst sausages, German chocolate, Belgian waffles and even stollen advent calendars on offer.

The market will be based in the garden centre’s main greenhouse and will be open from 9am until 5.30pm daily.

Entry is free.

Announcing the launch of this year’s market and fare, the garden centre said on Facebook: ”Our German Market is back.

“Over the past few weeks our teams have been working incredibly hard to transform the greenhouse into our festive German market and we can’t wait for you all to see it.

“Inspired by traditional German markets, you will be captivated by the sights, sounds and smells of the market, with irresistible seasonal treats and unique yuletide gifts and decorations.

“Festive visitors can wander amongst the many festive chalet style stalls, soak up the festive atmosphere and get in the mood for the holiday season.”
