A man is set to be charged in connection with the death of Luke Bellfield.
The 18-year-old died from his injuries following an incident in Old Leigh.
He suffered a stab wound to the heart near to the Peterboat pub, in High Street, on February 26.
In an update today, Essex Police has revealed Alfie Pollard will be charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of a Class B drug following the incident.
Pollard, who is 18 and currently in prison, will be officially charged when he appears at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 20.
